The rods I am offering for your consideration are finished with a Mike Montagne style reel seat. After many requests I finally decided to make them and after a few tests I started with these two rods.
Off course they are not exactly the same as I gave them a little twist of my own, but the idea is the same and actually make the Emotion series complete, as the Emotion rods are based on Mike his rectangular taper.
Again I off course had to do things the hard way and was not satisfied with readily available solutions so I had to make an insert that I had to completely make by hand. Filing a rectangular hole that would fit the rod and shape it with an offset so the reel foot will have enough clearance was not the easiest job. It needed some time but I think the end result is very nice. Well, see for yourself and decide what you think about it. One thing is for sure... It's different.

Buffalo horn insert and a black leather inlay on the end cap of the reel seat.
The tips are wrapped with translucent wraps tipped with highland green and a black 2/3 wrap inside the snake eye to protect the rod and varnish from line rubbing. The first two snakes are translucent, tipped highland green and the third and fourth snakes are highland green with black tipping, continuing with translucent wraps towards the tip tops which are wrapped highland green again.

Close up of the female Duronze ferrule with spiral wrap to add some detail to the rod. This spiral wrap is continued on the male ferrules. The Female ferrule off course has a ferrule plug like the one displayed on this rod here but I forgot to make a picture from it while making pictures from this rod
